Katie Doherty founded Raleigh
Renovations in 2008. Prior to founding
Raleigh Renovations Katie worked in both commercial and residential
architecture firms and designed many of the premier custom homes in Raleigh.
Katie holds a BS degree in Environmental and Interior Design from Syracuse
University. Since starting Raleigh
Renovations, Katie has completed numerous design projects that include custom
interior design commissions, renovations and remodels, foreclosure
restorations, additions and new home designs.
Katie has a knack for renovating and flipping homes by updating and staging them beautifully. Her talent for beautiful yet practical improvements results in designs that are elegant, beautiful and seamlessly integrated into the existing living space.
Katie is also known for her ability to
work successfully with sub-contractors and builders and she has strong
relationships with most of Raleigh’s high-end builders. Clients enjoy working with Katie and benefit
from her negotiation and problem solving skills. She understands the importance of providing
aesthetically pleasing designs, coupled with functionality and cost
containment. Just as importantly she
helps manage the process on behalf of her clients to ensure smooth project
flows that deliver on the customer’s vision within their budget
Most importantly Katie knows that the key to successful projects is her
customer’s enduring delight and satisfaction.
She prides herself on the fact
that her clients have retained her services for multiple projects and are her
main source of new business.
